Thank you for posting this! I wonder if anyone on the left will bother to read

Of the 7,175 hate crimes reported in 2017, just 23 turned out to be fake. Thats 0.3%
-
But that tiny subset will be enough to produce 2.25321x10^9 hours of youtube content, versus about 4 hours of content for the remaining 99.7% of real hate crimes.

Hell yeah a list compiled by... *checks notes* Neo-Nazis... oh...
-
AmRen isn't Neo-Nazi.
-
Yes it is.
-
It's amazing how self styled centrists always seem to rely on Neo-Nazis for their information.
-
2 possibilities for this: 1) They’re being disingenuous, or 2) They are dumb and fall for Nazi lies and think they are legitimate positions and/or true.
-
Hmm, may I take both as an answer?

I do not think “indisputable fact” means what you think it means.

Andy backs his statements up with facts. Look into it.

Just spend a few minutes flipping through these documented examples Keith. His work changed my mind. Because he is precise in his documentation and he backs up what he says.https://twitter.com/i/moments/1139340887262035968 …

What is it those who instantly jumped to Jussie's defense later said as an excuse? "It's symbolic of a larger problem" Indeed it is.https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1143945978505920517 …

I'm sure that there's always been narcissists who identify opportunity via social justice issues but it certainly seems like it's more common the past 10 years than it was the 80s/90s/00s. Genuinely compassionate ppl/long-time activists seem to be losing ground to the bad actors
-
Social Justice for most of the Twentieth Century was steeped in Christian notions of love Once you take out the Christianity and secularize it, well... (And I'm an atheist saying this)
-
Twentieth Century as a whole I probably agree. I'm thinking of the 80s/90s though. Not sure the same claim can be made. For me, I think the shift in activist circles was the result of a de-emphasis on class in favor of emphasis on race, gender and sex preference.
-
I remember I attended a neo-marxist talk (I was trying to get laid) in the mid 90s and the message was that identity politics would distract us from the TRUE oppression that is class. I didn't take it too seriously then. I think it was pretty dead on in retrospect.
-
And no lie....the neo-marxist, boot-wearing radical that was giving the talk ended up being my daughter's mom. lol
