They say they have no shame and aren’t afraid yet they hide behind masks and face coverings. I’m down with protesting but facial covering emboldens them to be dangerous and put others at risk.

They were furious last year when they tried to stage a protest in Alabama and ran afoul of an anti-Klan law which banned masked demonstrations.

Simple assault covers other acts as well including physical contact, but physically approaching you with a firearm and saying "we're not going to let you through" implies they are going to stop you from legally moving if you attempted it.
