One of the reasons why I think this happens is: people say "I don't like Frankie, I think she did a bad job" or some such thing, probably less politely. Others then say "well that's just because you hate women" (often this is true)

To which (for the accused) the natural response is "well clearly that isn't the case, because Woman X did this job much better than Frankie" (or even equivalently well or worse) "and I don't hate her, I think she is quite good in fact". And I have great sympathy for this argument

i may be biased (gay) but all the female talent have been really fucking amazing (including you moxxi) so it’s no surprise that misogynists feel threatened. keep owning them pls :3

Well i liked all the female talent at this TI; except Sheever. Which doesn't make sense since i am dutch myself. To me she doesn't fit the host role.
