Ralph Yarl. A 16 year old Black baby boy was shot because he went to the wrong door (as he attempted to pick up his siblings). He was shot in the head and again as he bled out on the ground.
His shooter- a white man- is free.

Trayvon was a child and should be alive today. He should have celebrated his 28th birthday this month. He should have graduated from high school and pursued his dream of becoming a pilot. Instead, his future was stolen by a man emboldened by racist gun laws.

Eleven years ago, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was pursued, shot, and killed by an armed vigilante while walking home from a Florida convenience store. Trayvon’s family will never receive justice—in part, due to Florida’s Shoot First law, which essentially makes murder legal.

NEW: The gun used by a Virginia 6-year-old to shoot his teacher in class was legally purchased by the 6-year-old's mother. The child was able to access the loaded gun at home and put it in his school bookbag.
