Contrary to historical revisionists, the 1986 People Power wasn't merely a group of masses in EDSA. It was a nationwide rally.
There were people that protested in Baguio, Davao, Iloilo, among other places. It was celebrated all over the country.

35th EDSA Anniversary
By MovePH @MovePH
People Power 1 is a momentum for the people's movement against the Marcos dictatorship
What went wrong? Not the EDSA uprising, but the illusion of some (even among ND leadership) that massive protests, election, is the end-all of the revolution

People are a country's power. No government must control the people, source of a country's taxes. You're a member of the people. Always remember that you have power. The government is your servant, not the other way around. #EDSA35 #PeoplePower35

WATCH: Activists march along EDSA on Thursday, February 25, to commemorate the 35th year of People Power. The commemoration is specially poignant today amid the government's red tagging and passage of a draconian anti-terror law. #EDSA35 Video by Kris Angel Ditan

Today is a reminder that We do not owe anything from any administration
We fight for democracy and freedom
We, the people, should be responsible for this country by holding the administration and the government as a whole accountable
