I fell asleep during Barry Lyndon. In no small due to Ryan O’Neal’s awful acting.
he's a real cipher, but the staging of the film is something else. hard to say whether it's good or bad, but it's certainly "severe." sterling hayden in the killing is probably the last person acting like a human in a kubrick film
