it's a lot of weight, but it is on a trap bar (somewhat easier) and elevated another 1" or so off the floor (deadening pads), but yeah,

i can pull 625+ most days with a conventional deadlift bar and a hook grip, which is also pretty good for the non-PED athlete in my age range (38-44)
