he's an extremely sharp/curious guy, though i guess there's never been much doubt about that
i believe he was going through a period during which he began to rethink the very sovereign powers lurking behind the state that "gives orders backed by threats while remaining in the habit of obedience to no other authority or rule of recognition"
Have his politics changed since the Industrial Society and Its Future? He espoused some sort of ecological anarchism in that, right?
I worked through an intermediary but I would say he is still looking for ways to move beyond the state, etc.
