I doubt trips to Williamsburg, VA will be allowed once schools are back. I went in 7th grade (I'm on left) and it blew. Simply ridiculous. @TomJoyceSports, @MoustacheClubUS.https://www.splicetoday.com/on-campus/school-field-trips-sucked#.XwkMqiW_EHM.twitter …

7th grade is simply too young; when we went as juniors in high school, everybody was making out on the bus...

I remember at some point we got to go out on a boat. I think it was biology class. That turned into an unbelievable cluster fuck of kids smoking weed, drinking beer (I have no idea how kids snuck beer onto a boat, but I think they shoved it down their pants) and puking. 8th grade

oh, and the whole concept of being "punished" by being sent the Library was standard throughout my schooling and must have created a culture of Americans who associate the Library with prison. While I actually loved being sent to the library. So maybe prison isn't that bad?

A school library was 100 times better than a field trip. I have no interest in prison.

I missed out on loads of field trips when I was home schooled (grades 3-9) but I made up for that with opportunities to watch Predator and the Running Man over and over as "language arts" homework
