@MoustacheClubUS on this: just scrap the whole grading scheme. it's an obligatory rubber stamp program for labor processing. workers paying out the ass for their own job training, >95% of it worthless and irrelevant. make that someone else's problem.Show this thread
That said, I do now think DeBoer was right that PMCs want this gone because then they can fill roles (that require no processing power, mentally) with people who have locked themselves into various important classifications

I'm really looking forward to his book. every approach I can think of to "fix" education barring full scale economic overhaul seems like a half-measure. there's such a wide range of thought of what the purpose of it all even is, or ought to be, in this system or any to come.
