The connection is loose. I don’t mean to say that wokeness is actually a religion but that Calvinism has shaped the culture into a shape in which the wokeness fits.
I have a personal friend (though that may be a stretch at this point) who is a woke antiracist *because* he is a Calvinist. For him, antiracism is the correct American expression of Christian penance.
