people like my dad and otis dozovic would be classified as "morbidly obese" in terms of BMI, but I don't think either would be considered "politically fat"

fat was something they expected -- normalized if you will, almost as a status quo -- but they did level vicious fat-related insults at each other. "look, fat!" as joe biden would say. loads of us were saddled with monikers like "lardo," "tubs," "chubs"..."who's the blimp?"

Lmao my own father will say I roll when I fall we have the same sized belly. I'll load a wheel Barrow faster than he could and he knows that. I'm not anti fat but even my own "fat" parents know I should just get in shape
