police trivia #2: something that hasn't been remarked upon much is how widespread (legal) steroid doping happens on police forces around the US. in Texas, the co-pay for a testosterone injection at the "Low T center" was $20 for a UT-Arlington employee; $0 for a Fort Worth cop

The Ronnie Coleman interview with Joe Rogan was enlightening. Surprising the steroid use was so above board. Understandable. A physically imposing cop makes a different impression on the public. There's a subject; do stronger cops use more/less force?

Anecdotally, I'd say strong cops use less force. Police overdo it when they're cruel or scared, mostly the latter, so a cop who feels like an adult manhandling children is probably less likely to be excessive. I saw this very thing every weekend working at a busy 24-hr diner.

Reminds me of the comical character of Barney Fife on the old Andy Griffith show. Fife was a small cocky annoying little deputy. Always trying to be a hard ass.Where sheriff Andy was confident, and at ease.Comedy sure but... The Fife Factor.
