I knew like individuals buying fake followers was a thing I didn't realise there was publications buying literally millions of them to appear authentic lol. But having a scroll through the followers tab it appears you're right. Very bizarre stuff
Yep. They're doing the work. You can buy traffic too, but advertisers are always trying to find other metrics to avoid these various scams. Influencers on IG often undetake targeted follower buys to stay above 1mil, a key dividing line as far as "rates" go. You love to see it
