always glad to see the top celebrities doing the work. they mustn't miss a chance to infuse every current event with their radiant "influence" and "engagement." they can't be allowed to let their "star power" diminish by staying in their own lane, or any lane for that matter.

I used to be ok with celebrities doing their endorsements, messages, etc. I even thought some of them were sincere about their intentions and believed it was a net positive. But now? for the love of god they need to shut up or they will cringe me to death.
yes, it's clear that for nearly all of them, with the rare exceptions who have had so much as a single unique thought, they're merely mouthing lines that will earn them more exposure. at best they're presenters, and often not very good ones w/o editors, makeup people, etc.

I have to say, seeing white people publickly apologizing for racism has been one of the most obscene, misguided and embarrasing things I've ever seen. I can't even watch the videos. Goddamn this sucks. Seeing celebrities do it added a whole other dimension to it.
