People mean well when they tell journalists they can't wait to "see where they land." But there are no safe landing zones. Every major media enterprise is cutting people. When they do eventually rehire, it's at reduced rates. Please don't plan on making a living doing this.

Can't be done. In 20 years I think even more writing will just be corporate press releases and advertising/marketing copy, and we'll probably have an AI (or several) to churn that out.

Almost all the aggregation work you see out there on a lot of blogs will be automated and soon. The technology is already there to do it.
