I've gone post-takes. Can't keep up with the takes. The work? I thought I was doing the work but there's so many ways you need to state you're doing the work you need a scorecard. And when you analyze how public pronouncements in the marketplace of ideas line up...there's no end.

For every single thing that happens, there are thousands of public and quasi-public and "not public big on social media" people aligning and evolving and complicating each other's takes that the thing happening, important as it is, becomes epiphenomenal to all the positioning

At a certain point, every take becomes a way of emotional soothing, overlaid with religious sentiments (antifa, nazis, russia, ??? did "the bad," the good is whatever in my take soothes me and others who appreciate my take and type similar things, similar thinkable thoughts)

even within the take-adjacent a slight deviation from the ur-take is a call to battle (your take said X and obviously Y is missing, obviously 6iu are Z) as if anyone could type everything all the time, numbered for emphasis as the person critiquing the take wishes to see it

All I can do is assure you a few things will keep happening: - outrage leading to takes will never cease - the only "change" we will get is "change" that benefits the evolving nature of the capitalist system - a few people will gain some notoriety - most will suffer -cui bono
