Matt Stoller is great. I think he just keeps kayfabe with policy literature, basically denying 'politics.' This makes it pretty obvious why he would have liked Warren, especially prior to the campaign she acted like liberals should try to govern sanely, we're in charge, etc
My rule of thumb for the organizers is to ask them to tell me how a stock buyback works. I don't ask for much. Just that.
