I don't profess to be an expert by any stretch, but something I've been thinking about more and more is that the amount of people on the left who understand the economy at all (or even make any effort to understand it) is legitimately minuscule
the amazonification of delivery has further removed them from reality. Their consumption is almost fully automated - the people delivering things are human, all too human...for now - and so the organizing words they type can function as clout-building rhetoric in an echo chamber

many are removed from, say, the slaughter of the meat they eat (I'm not, but will still eat meat...no meat, no eat) and these folks have taken the next step: full removal from everything, trying to earn money for nothing in exchange for goods dropped at doorsteps. It is Ideal
