Yep. That was my worry leading up to writing this. I’ve also seen people tweeting about “toxic nerd entitlement” and have been hoping no one writes that take because that isn’t what is happening here

No, Otis is much more a lovable goof a la Farley who we're happy to see rewarded. It'd be different if he was channeling David Spade's snide entitlement. I was personally won over by his cameo in the women's Royal Rumble match, which was so charming and perfect.
