Aimee has really worked overtime trying to clarify the terms of the project, so it can't be dismissed (inaccurately, but still) as doomerism, petty score settling, "just running down the left," etc. We've spent a lot of time explicitly addressing all that.
Some enjoyed the argument, and they drilled down on some major issues, but I think the end of the Sanders 2020 campaign meant a lot of Aimee's long-time talking points needed to be foregrounded. I share many of her positions, so it's more abt us pushing one another to refine them

Yeah, I left that world behind, and Aimee are just friends and "comrades" (we wouldn't use that word!). I know some people appreciate that approach and wouldn't knock it -- I don't mind it-- but even my lectures were very conversational and grounded in examples and application.
