If you think about how hard it is to get 100-200 people to do even one simple thing — and it’s no knock on them, it’s just life — you can see why all the theorizing and organizing in the world is likely to come up empty handed

even if I can't tell them how -- I can't -- I can certainly keep asking them to think about it, even if it has no impact beyond making sure it's on the record. I work in corporate America, so I know that the most trivial tasks are akin to herding cats
