If being criticized for selling out rankles you, you were "always already" (to use a bit of Discourse) aware your sales depended on us buying your benevolent bullshit. Me? All I've ever wanted to do, my entire life, is get paid for work. Selling out? My earnings are an open book

Every byline listed on my website that's appeared since 2014 has been in exchange for money. I work a day job. I ruthlessly pursue free products from PR flacks. I used to share a Google doc with pay rates for major pubs. It's all monetized. I can't afford to do anything else

When you're rich, you can afford to work for free. Me? I've got a family. I'd like to see a massive easing of these capitalist pressures, through actual wins in Politics (because the govt controls the purse strings and the nukes), but until then, I just do the work. Here for it

Why no Onlyfans? Well, I'm not above any work -- I certainly wouldn't valorize that labor, as we do in a society where long term criminalization has made it taboo -- but I have enough income streams to avoid that for the time being. It's not my first or fifth choice work

I think if you put all that effort into your body, it would make sense to want to get some of it back. Which is to say, it should be respectable to have an onlyfans as a swole man (not as a gross women)

I truly do marvel at those videos. It seems like cartoonish amounts of weight.

Not compared to the true professionals. More than you'll see lifted in most globo-gyms or even on some sports teams, but still an order of magnitude below the pro strength athletes
