there's no reason why this is the case. the second phone is tied to something else i handle, but it could easily be turned off and continue forwarding calls. so could the other phones. and yet...

i've got two work phones, an apple watch synced to both of those, and a personal phone, and they all forward calls to each other. whenever a call comes in -- and boy do they come in during the workday! -- the switchboard lights up like it did after JFK's last ride in Dallas

My work line rings through to my personal phone. I wish I could turn do not disturb on for all personal notifications and only allow work ones through. The whole getting pinged across 4 devices creates too much stress.
