(WOMEN, dir. Lena Dunham 2021) - this follow-up to the "hit show" GIRLS focuses on Karen, a 30something woman who works in media, as she goes around getting Uber drivers fired from their gig jobs for using incense air fresheners, talking, and keeping the AC too low. it's a hoot!
other episodes focus on everyday problems such as getting "IT Steve" fired for posting triggering cartoons (the Oatmeal!!!) in the Slack, getting baristas fired for taking a tone, getting some nobody e-girl canceled on twitter for being a nazbol, and doing the work of self care
It's sad to think of all the cultural enrichment young trusters have probably missed out on by 4-starring cab drivers for playing ethnic music
yeah, it's ok to scold people for not appreciating that stuff on the tweets but in the sheets one's delicate ears need to be protected from such harsh tones that could trigger panic attacks, etc.
I’m watching Girls at the moment and Lena Dunham would probably do something like this deliberately to invite criticism. She loves it
