Parks & Recreation had maybe the most insidiously bad politics of any network sitcom in the history of television, especially after the dude from that 2000s era David Gordon Green indie movie quit the show and it stopped being even slightly dark/uncomfortable

Yes indeed. And its smarmy self love grows and grows, it is one of the few shows where the *characters* regard themselves as iconic
