That's such a naive question, though. These successful personalities may not be entirely conscious of what they're doing -- indeed it's better if they aren't -- but they're playing out the same tired script as every other salesman of Radical Chic. Doing well by doing good!
No true threat to the system will succeed within it, but there will be plenty of people who succeed by selling a brand of resisting it. This is the most critical point to make right now: explaining the business of Doing the Work. People keep asking "but why???" and yet...
