you could devote, say, 1 out of every 5 episodes on some political initiative/figure/policy that you do support, if something like that could be possible... just so that every episode is not only on a critique of the left, but maybe advocating for something, somewhere, as well...

maybe not every one out of five, but we've certainly discussed some episodes like that. but i don't want people to think the work is built merely on tearing down the left: it is merely saying what it isn't, in our analysis. that is step one of any positive project.

I haven't noticed any problems in production values at all (I guess I'm not that discerning about sound issues) but nothing I've found to be distracting at all

I'm glad to hear that it sounds ok. The producer does a good job. But I know some podcast listeners are obsessed with every little thing audio-wise
