I'm not a full-time creative. I've always had to work in some way, in an unglamorous occupation, to pay my bills. Perhaps this has impeded my progress, but I prefer to put that in the context of all the trust fund full-time "creatives" with 4x the free time and far less output.
I mean, they're still Winning, because I need to make money off my content -- and I always do, off everything I do, from clients who pay -- and they or their parents could actually pay people to publish their work or produce their podcast. Achilles and the tortoise, kids
