Personal essays are getting an overly bad rep at the moment because lots of self indulgent people have extra time, but its still a wonderful genre. I've loved many of your PEs, you're a great writer with no delusions. People actually do need good thoughts about common dilemmas.
Mine are fiction too, if only because the ones about my old man have to be toned down and sanitized for the R rating

Well yeah most memoir blends some facts together that's not unusual either
