The returns are potentially quite good, if you can hang in there. There's an entire toolkit of thinkable thoughts to utter and innumerable trump cards for winning arguments (all of which amount to "so when did you stop beating your spouse?").

Tons of armor class bonuses if you can fit the narrative of your Saleable Self, your Solo-brity, into various categories that insulate you from some but not all criticisms. These stack, so it helps to lay them on thick, one atop the other
