Having a day job means I have less time for writing overall but I never have to write a story I'm not all-in for, for an editor I don't like working with, for a piddling sum that isn't worth the over-rigorous editing process. I enjoy working with the places where I publish

I did that a few times and it broke my spirit. I also wrote some horrible hot take pieces under the bylines of other pypo that shocked my conscience. I couldn't believe what it was really like out there, how the sausage got made in those dark satanic content mills

Insofar as my work is even the least bit good, or the least bit timeless, that's because it is mine. Some of this stuff does indeed linger. And it's rarely the stuff that pops on day 1. Peruse my massive back catalogue for
