I meannnnnnn.... I guess all I'll say is that posing sedentarism against 'fifty miles a day' is quite the dichotomy. I think there's a lot in between.

"Fifty miles" is an exaggeration, but I'm skeptical of the value of bulk cardio. Joe Frazier and Mike Tyson did fine with four to five miles of daily roadwork plus hrs of sparring in their training camps. The neoliberal disciplining of the marathon/triathlon body is problematic
