Not quite. They were an established part of that system before they began making money, one of them in particular, and they organized within an emerging payment technology to make more money. This is the case for a lot of new left media.

I don't have faith in any policy prescriptions at this point, which was also the conclusion of my dissertation on school finance litigation: the "schools" writ large have always been failing, since the day they opened, no matter what is done for them. They still have to operate

The worked for Steve Jobs. And, um, Elizabeth Holmes. Usually, St. Patrick's day is my last turtleneck day of the year (underneath a cliche Aran knit sweater). Unless I ski. Both cancelled this year.
