Even in good times, whenever people would talk to me about pill box hats or how cool the shoulder pads were on suits back in such and such decade, I was always thinking, "you know, I bet most people want food, shelter, clothing, and the chance to take care of their families."
Great cologne, interesting tortoise shell glasses redolent of blah blah, but hey, did you know most people want to live and not die? It's true! Yes, wow, an eames chair. How about that? Also people like meeting their basic needs!
