NYC looks the same to me minus tables in restaurants. (Well Wendy's is closed, and the kid is home.) Social distancing hasn't changed my life, so don't trust me. I was two years home taking care of elderly parent; that was followed by underemployment, which kept me at home, too.
Yeah, I'm not the person to ask about social distancing. I'm rarely out under ideal circumstances
