it's impossible to separate signal from noise, but we're starting to see total shutdown of grocery delivery services, etc. even here in pittsburgh.

yeah, they're truly in the front lines. the us is such a threadbare, make-on-demand operation that even the slightest shock will break it. no norms of civic cooperation (except in rural communities like my hometown, which shut down well in advance of this)

i really think if and when this is all said and done, there's going to be mass internal migration...to mid-size cities from big ones, to suburbs from mid-cities, and to rural areas from the suburbs. a post ww2 anti-cooperation sprawl
