Purdy's tenured, so all this is just cream, anyway. You love to see it. You really do. I know I do! If these scabbing academics cared, they'd step aside and give their jobs away, they'd give it all away. And yet they don't, because the shared national goal is building the brand.

honestly, I've followed this dude for years, and I'm 99% sure his biggest regret is he didn't come to market with his own "Hillbilly Elegy" (he's an Ivy Leaguer from WV) before JD Vance did. I'm sure he kicks himself ovver not moving the brand in that "authentic" direction

Mind you, I rarely ever call people out for their clout-chasing, and when I do, it's folks like this who sit atop bishop's thrones in their various cathedrals. To such individuals, you and I amount to nothing more than motes in their god's eye
