the US is only capable of engaging in the "solidarity of one," much as its Army once marketed itself as an "army of one." Good luck getting all these special selves, chasing their byline clout and each issuing "ex cathedra" takes like this one, to fall in line
Purdy's tenured, so all this is just cream, anyway. You love to see it. You really do. I know I do! If these scabbing academics cared, they'd step aside and give their jobs away, they'd give it all away. And yet they don't, because the shared national goal is building the brand.
honestly, I've followed this dude for years, and I'm 99% sure his biggest regret is he didn't come to market with his own "Hillbilly Elegy" (he's an Ivy Leaguer from WV) before JD Vance did. I'm sure he kicks himself ovver not moving the brand in that "authentic" direction
