Sure, some people like to help out for short-term gain, and others like to be seen signaling virtue, but at the end of the day, you shouldn't be surprised when your dad claims he's going to a meeting to bail out the family business and instead goes to NYC with his mistress

It would be easier to kill 90% of the population than to convince even 10% voluntarily follow social distancing guidelines. Not enough of us care, anywhere, to paraphrase Langston Hughes. It is easier to imagine the end of the world than Amazon dot com paying more tax
