It's beyond challenging. This is why I "cover" fitness (a world where everyone is lying or selling you something; no bones about it) but merely "write" about wrestling (besides the difficulty of getting "access" to people higher up the line).

I can at least text some steroid doctor or fitness company CEO and get a quick answer. Most of the major players are available for me, and their agenda is transparently self-promotion. But wrestling's "double layer" of "worked shooting" makes it impenetrable
At most, I can comment on or report on wrestling in retrospect. I don't know how the "daily news" bloggers manage (aside from match recaps, of course). I really don't.
