I recently had a friend get kicked out of an academic program for plagiarizing something that didn’t matter and I was genuinely shocked how seriously it was taken. Ive read people’s un-plagiarized writing, most people simply should not write

That’s D Day for the profs who suddenly get to stop being ignored and start being real. Honor court, expulsion, you name it...for a generation raised on hyperlinked citations anyway. I love to see it

At this point I think diploma mills are doing a better job with undergraduate teaching and even some graduate programs than “accredited” universities
