Watching the Kids lavish praise on all the "young faces" entering politics in previous elections and then heaping scorn on them for "playing politics" is loads of fun for me. The Kids seem to think people running for office want something other than paychecks and power. Nope.

The ones that do won't have paychecks or power for long, and I love to see that too. Elect the new bosses, soon to be the Kids' kids' old bosses (not that our children's children should be having children, perish the thought)

Just remember: if you campaign for someone's promotion, either to your boss or your representative, and you do it pro bono and don't extract any money or favors, enjoy that trip to the glue factory when the time comes, Mr. Horse from Animal Farm.

One of the few real radicals I ever knew told me the only vote you could cast in a meeting was one of no confidence, and anyone nominated to lead you shouldn't. Those points still stand
