Feels like many New Yorkers can not fathom why you would choose to live outside the city. They can understand LA, the Bay Area, maybe Philly. But anywhere else? What’s wrong with you????

It's pretty nice here. My mortgage payment is lower than most people's car payments and I'm well inside city limits, on high ground with a pool and a bone-dry basement I'm finishing
I also don't ever talk "writing" with anyone which is great for my side business of selling writing. Zero shop talk means more time to do work
