I've not watched CNN for more than 15 minutes for any stretch since the original Gulf War and the extent to which this network provides nonstop commentary on the Same News Story all day long, while stumping and spinning to create redemption arcs for "moderates," is remarkable

These people are better at creating suspense related to one or another "fait accompli" ("will Mayo Pete turn the tide, whatever the tide is?") than ol' JR and Schiavone calling a scripted wrestling match. Meanwhile there is more actual news "content" on the Drudge landing page

Does the audience for this stuff even know where a "tweet" comes from? This kind of nonstop "breaking news" (the same news breaks over and over, and is always being hyped) seems to exist in a hermetically sealed, self-referencing universe that even the WWE can't match
