I follow my brother’s golden rule of strength training, which is that if anyone anywhere in the world is stronger than you, you aren’t strong. And if you can do it, it’s obviously not impressive. I apply those lessons to all the Work I do for the Kids

After two years of hook gripping barbells, I can report that my thumbs are much longer

If your grip gets really just torn up by doing this for too many reps, put on some hyflex 11-541 ansi 4 cut resistant work gloves and you’re back on that grind

Shaking to prevent hitching ... you love to see it. That’s not a lot of weight in the grand scheme of powerlifting but it’s a lot of weight at my weight (241 lbs) and with the hooked grip
