I'd be super interested in an article on this. I've always assumed it happens from juicing making you string enough to push weight beyond the body's structural capability (maybe I'm wrong?). Also why is recovery often so poor after surgery?
Agreed. From what I’ve heard hgh plus steroids can reduce the risk, but it’s still higher than it would be otherwise. I’ll consult some providers and see what they say
might coincide with NFL testing for HGH which limits its ability to accelerate tendon/ligament growth to match the steroid gains?
Certainly has to be a part of it. No correlation between people suspended for HGH use and pec tears, but one would think they've already reaped some benefits from it...I'd like to look at, if I had the time, years in league vs. pec tears (perhaps not using HGH soon enough)
I bet it's like what Jeff says. Muscles can grow and grow and get stronger but everyone is probably rolling with more or less the same ligaments and tendons as everyone.
