yeah, i have no beef with any of that, but when i read about mma back in the day, i read you and a few others. now i'm talking to you. i don't purport to know nearly as much about mma, and i continue to read your stuff, etc. the same goes for other people i've followed
yeah, i don't mind it. wikipedia and move on. i'd say there are only a few wrestlers (or athletes generally) i know in considerable detail, and they're sometimes but not always the ones i write the obits for. sometimes i've just gotta make do with what i've got.

i have my rolodex of regular people, i have the books of various kinds i refer back to (currently reading one about the 04-05 Oklahoma State wrestling season), etc. otherwise i've gotta fill in the gap with youtube, highspots interviews, you name it
