I thought the CATS movie starring the people as cats came out in June during blockbuster season, and at the time was subject to loads of joke-tweets and Takes, but no — it comes out Dec 20. Talk about a Christmas gift that keeps on giving for the pop culture Hot Takerati
I am sure the CATS movie is problematic. Isn’t Scarlett Johansson cast in some Dolezal-type role? No, that was the GHOST IN THE SHELL movie, which delivered so many takes it felt like it had been in theaters since 2012. No matter — CATS deserves a hot takedown
It’s problematic because it gives me the creeps. I saw an ad for it at the gym and about feel off the goddamn elliptical because I was so grossed out.
