the only reason I'm here for it twitter is to watch the grifters and influence hustlers say whatever contradictory/confusing things are needed to stir the drink and keep the retweets coming. It's senseless. It's harmful to the causes they've hitched their wagons to. It's glorious
I love it. I grew up in the sales game, doing the work. You said whatever it took. It was all relative. And you were always either the hero, the victim, or wrongfully accused. This is how you do it. Take it personal and make it personal. Brutalize your foes for a $5 venmo. Yes!!!
Some of these people, especially rich kids slumming on the fringes of media and costing the underrepresented their space, are actually PAYING for influence. Move to the expensive True City, do no obvious paid work except for a $50 take or two, fool around with some podcasts.
