My j school years were similarly wasted. There were so many uninspired/mediocre writers in what was supposedly an "elite" program. They wrote little and read less. It was fascinating. Jobs at low circulation papers (instead of blogs, this was '00) were landed through networking
To this day I refer to UNC as a pleasantly landscaped "moo u" or "cow college," and fellow alum @Young_Swatty would surely agree
